Shashank Narayanan

Shashank Narayanan is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the fintech sector. He is one of the founders-in-residence at Spring Studios and is currently building his soon-to-be-released startup in the MENA region. Prior to this, he was part of the founding team at Sarwa, MENA’s first and fastest-growing digital wealth manager, backed by Mubadala, 500 global, and Hambro Perks. There, he wore multiple hats across customer service, operations, sales, business development, and partnerships. His entrepreneurial journey began after gaining valuable insights in various roles, including Expansion & GTM at hi Inc., a travel-tech startup backed by SoftBank and Hong Kong’s first unicorn; Data Analysis at Morningstar; and several internships in banking and finance, including roles at Mashreq Bank, Union National Bank, Dubai International Securities, and the Department of Economic Development, Government of Dubai.

His experiences range from customer service and teller operations at Mashreq Bank, where he had the unique opportunity to enter the vault, to equity research at Dubai International Securities, and even participating in the Young Business Leaders Program at Dunia Finance. Over the years, Shashank has developed a multifaceted skill set that includes data analysis, customer service, operations, sales, and business development, making him an invaluable asset in the fintech ecosystem.
